Lansing: Drinking Mercury and The Stick Arounds (plus Plurals and Tucos) Shows!
Drinking Mercuy is releasing a new self-titled album at The Robin Theatre on November 23rd, with special guests When Particles Collide!
But first! The Stick Arounds are celebrating ten years as a band and they’re having a big ol’ shinding at The Avenue Cafe on Friday November 15! Joining the Sticks are GTG Family The Plurals, Jeremy Porter and the Tucos plus Detroit’s Popular Creeps!

2019 – So Far
Halfway through the year, this is what we’ve got:
Cavalcade – Sonic Euthanasia. A sludgy masterpiece from our favorite experimental metal friends.
The Plurals – Mumblebee. Volume one of GTG noisy-poppy-ceiling-punchers’ “BEES” album series!
Robot (Re)pair – End Transmissions. Wry, catchy, spicy garagey pop-punk from our lovely Arizonan artificial “intelligent” pals.
Jeremy Porter – 1987. The best Detroit powerpopper in the land gets his acoustic side out there for all to bask in.
For The Record Showcase Volume 1. Both a celebration of Sleeping Timmy & Ryne Clarke’s radio show and a new compilation with tons of new and previously unreleased music from Michigan and beyond.

The Plurals – Mumblebee Release Party!
The Plurals are releasing a new EP TOMORROW May 4th at The Robin Theatre in Lansing. This show is all ages and local friends and favorites Flatfoot are opening the show. There’s a track premier at The Bad Copy, a blurb at the City Pulse, and an interview with the Palm Reader that go into greater detail but basically, this is some new Plurals stuff and it’s gonna be our last show for a bit but we’ll have another EP out later this summer. Holy smokes!

Stoopfest 2019 – 4/19 & 4/20
Stoopfest is back! The 4th annual edition of Lansing’s celebration of the eastside and alternative art and music is happening on April 19 and 20 with headliners Open Mike Eagle, Jeffery Lewis, Sammus, Lavender Country, and Mourning a BLKStar along with great locals including Grey Matter, Dogleg, Rodeo Boys, Sareem Poems, and a stacked roster of GTG acts at the Avenue all day on 4/20 with Cat Midway, Small Parks, Extra Arms, and The Plurals all doing their thing.
