Tommy Plural & Wilderhoney Shows (Lansing area)

Tommy Plural is, among other things, the co-founder (along with the rest of The Plurals) of GTG Records and the hive mind behind The Wild Honey Collective. Active in the Michigan independent music community since the year 2000 in genres encompassing punk, psychedelia, folk, and country, Tommy has toured internationally and released over a dozen albums in collaboration with The Plurals, Wild Honey, Drinking Mercury and more. Partnering with Wild Honey pedal steel player and all-around sound wizard/award-winning guitarist/published Duchamp disproving photographer Adam Aymor, the name “Tommy Plural & Wilderhoney” started getting tossed around in 2023 as a way for the road-obsessed duo to stay busy in between regular band activity and also lean into more improvisational territory. As a detour further out into the country of The Wild Honey Collective, Tommy and Adam’s Wilderhoney shows (regularly featuring Wild Honey drummer Joel Kuiper plus contributions from The Plurals and friends) encompass their main band’s catalogs with additional classic country, folk, and rock material in pedal steel/mandolin/acoustic led arrangements. The self-titled “Wilderhoney” debut EP was issued in January 2024, featuring traditional folk songs, original music, and songs by Jeremy Porter, The Byrds, and Sonic Youth.
