So Drinking Mercury’s been a band for 11 years, but aside from a couple limited-run EPs and some compilation tracks they haven’t released a whole lot. That changes on September 3rd with the release of the full-length album Orcades. The band simultaneously captures their live energy and embraces studio textures on this album, resulting in a fine space-rock meets indie-folk stew with a dash of shoegaze.
