The Guest Stars were a Lansing, MI-based powerpop band who released the first pressing of their debut CD The High Life on GTG Records in 2010. Led by dual singer/songwriters Roy Kirby and Joe Barshaw, the band also featured bassist Chris Davis (a position previously held by GTG lifers Michael Boyes and Loren Pudvay) and drummer Christian Urabazzo (Cavalcade, Cave Needles, The Hat Madder, Josh David and the Dream Jeans etc).
