Biography
Arist, musician, promoter, and man about town Peter Richards has been performing under the Stargrazer name since 2003. Fusing influences ranging from folk to shoegaze to early hardcore, Stargrazer performances generally consist of Richards accompanied only by his acoustic bass, strumming with wild abandon underneath his baritone croon. In the studio, Stargrazer is a different beast entirely, sifting Richards’ compositions through dreamy soundscapes and post-rock spaces. Richards is also the mastermind of GTG’s step-sister label It Takes A Village to Make Records, a source for exciting under-the-radar music throughout the midwest.
