Jason Alarm in its original incarnation was a Grand Ledge, MI high school ska-punk band that got turned turned on to anthemic power metal and progressive rock, all the while retaining a distintive synth-heavy sound. Their 2009 debut EP Engage was a co-release by BMP and GTG and can still be downloaded with the rest of their catalog at the Jason Alarm bandcamp. The band ended in the summer of 2011 but reformed in 2015 (after a one-off reunion in 2013) with new music forthcoming.
